"Orpa" was produced by Axel Putra, Dani Huda, Giovanni Rahmadeva, and Cornelio Sunny
Orpa, a 13 year old bookish Papuan girl from a extremely remote mountain village who is married off by her father for cash, runs away one night to puruse her dream of attending school in Wamena, Indonesia. She crosses paths with Ryan, a wannabe musician from Jakarta who becomes lost in the rainforest after an unfortunate experience recording local bird calls. They agree to travel together and on their journey a gentle friendship develops but they encounter difficulties as they are chased by both Orpa's father and villagers who accuse Ryan of murder.

 Documentary

Dear Thirteen weaves together nine stories of thirteen-year-olds from across the globe. Video diaries and candid interviews reveal how global issues are shaping--and are being shaped by-- young people: rising anti-semitism in Europe, gender identity and racial divisions across Australia and Asia. This empathetic portrait goes beyond stereoptypes of adolescence to capture the complexity of finding a way into adulthood.

will be shown at the Bali International Film Festival in June 2024
